Description

The 8 Ton Pintle Hook is a heavy-duty forged steel towing and recovery connection point rated to 8 tonnes, providing a secure, rattle-free coupling for vehicle recovery operations and trailer towing. Like the 10 ton version, it uses a locking lever mechanism to prevent accidental uncoupling and mounts to a standard 2-inch receiver.

The 8 ton rating is suitable for most Jimny recovery scenarios and light trailer towing applications. The pintle hook design is preferred in recovery contexts because it accepts a wide variety of lunette eye sizes and is more tolerant of vertical and lateral misalignment than ball hitch couplings.
