Description
The K&N is a 1 US gallon container of air filter oil, formulated for the maintenance and re-oiling of K&N oiled cotton gauze air filters.
Oiled cotton gauze air filters rely on a specific oil coating to achieve their designed filtration capabilities. This oil creates a tacky surface that captures fine airborne particles while allowing sufficient airflow. Over time, or following a cleaning cycle, this oil layer can diminish or be removed, compromising the filter's ability to effectively trap contaminants.
